Dreaming of something beautifully moist, healthy, delicious, low in sugar, and saturated in chocolate and rum? I believe you are looking for our new product, the Okanagan Harvest Cake(tm). When you eat this, you’ll find it hard to believe that this sweet morsel of Heaven is actually good for you.
I make these cakes with dried fruit such as apricots, dates, pears and pineapple. Of course, I add the chunks of chocolate as with the original recipe, and then soak the cakes in dark rum when baked. I can only describe people’s reaction to the product as overwhelmingly positive—Okanagan Harvest Cake(tm) is in several local specialty stores already.
