Hi Moni:
Cakes arrived promptly and in good condition.
In my 88 years I've had many different fruit cakes, but I must say I have not had a better one than yours.
Sincerely

My name is Shelly Steiner. I just received the fruitcake today that I ordered from you. I would like to tell you it is absolutely fabulous. It is the best fruitcake I have ever tasted. My husband agrees, as he is not a fruitcake fan at all. He managed to eat half of the cake himself.
I was just thrilled with the fruitcake and shared it with quite a few friends who also thought it was fantastic. I will be ordering one for next Christmas and am passing your website on to my friends.
Many thanks for getting it to me so quickly.Mary Reynolds

- I Want More!
Alright, so I’m addicted to your fruitcake and want more! I purchased one last weekend and had hoped to keep it for a Christmas gift. Yeah, right! I’ve eaten the entire thing and want more. Is there somewhere locally I can purchase a few truckloads of them? Ha ha—actually, though, I would like to buy three or four if I can.

- It is scrumptious
- I am a fruitcake lover, but I had to try your fruitcake. It is scrumptious. I wondered with the chocolate, but it is the best I have ever tasted. I will be back next year.

- I’ve almost finished both cakes.
- Ohmigawd! I did share some with my hubby and Deb (my food editor) and we all agreed that they are most definitely the best we’ve ever tasted.

- Moni Schiller has baked up two fruitcakes she hopes will clear your memory of any brick-like ones you’ve had in the past. Her Totally Decadent Fruitcake is packed with fruit and pecans and is soaked in brandy and contains chunks of chocolate. Okanagan Harvest Fruitcake is also packed with fruit and chunks of chocolate, has almonds and is soaked in rum. Just a small slice of either cake provides a moist and inviting sweet treat.

- Fruitcake Brings Joy
- Erase all bad memories you may have about that seasonal affront known as fruitcake…. Life needs to have a few measures of joy thrown into the mix and biting into either one of these cakes guarantees it.

- Okanagan Harvest Cake(tm)? It’s Absolutely Fabulous
- Moni Schiller, of Nuttier than a Fruitcake, is famous for her rich and decadent fruitcake. Now she is making a product that is available just in time for your Thanksgiving dinners. Her new home-baked product is Okanagan Harvest Cake which is made with valley fruits such as apricots, pears and apples. It also contains chunks of chocolate and is soaked in rum once baked. It’s absolutely fabulous.

- Too Good to Share
- Two years ago, Moni gave me a fruit cake as a Christmas gift. I don’t normally like cake but I tasted it, and was completely won over by the chocolatey, decadent, and boozy taste. I ate the whole cake, in secret, in my office. I felt so guilty not sharing that I asked Moni to bake some more one day so I could actually share the fruit cake. So, imagine my great delight when last year Moni told me she was going to sell her fruit cakes. I ordered six to start off with and gave five of them as gifts—the other I coudn’t resist. The people who received them were all pleased, firstly with the packaging, and then, once they tasted them—wow!
I was tempted to take credit, but they are far too good. Keep up the great work, Moni!

- Fruitcake Eaten With Cries of Joy & Happiness
- The cakes have been accepted and eaten with cries of joy and happiness. I think you will have found three new “buyers” for I explained 1)who you were 2) what you were doing and 3) where you were—in the wilds of the Okanagan. They were all very impressed. All had another piece of cake and voted you a genius.

- A More Luxurious Holiday Gift
- This fruit cake is delicious. Moist and fruity and the chocolate makes it melt in your mouth. It’s a wonderful gift and even those who aren’t crazy about fruit cake liked this one. I also put it with a nice bottle of port for a more luxurious holiday gift. And I had to order extra because I couldn’t resist the cake myself. It became the nightly holiday treat in our house.

- Truly Amazing & Beautiful, Too
- It’s wedding season and there’s a new product on the market that’s just super for this special occasion. Moni Schiller of Nuttier Than a Fruitcake(tm) (wrote about her fantastic fruit cakes at Christmas) is producing an extremely delicious revision of an old tradition.
The Groom’s Cake is individually packaged fruit cake in a white box with a heart-shaped cut out and tied with an exquisite cloth ribbon of the bride's choosing for their guests. The Groom’s Cake was traditionally sent home with single women guests to put under their pillows so that they would dream about their future husbands. [These wedding favors are] truly amazing and they look beautiful, too.

- Fruitcake Worthy of All Possible Praise
- I grew up in the southern part of the US where you had to use the “correct” pecan pie recipe and get your fruit cakes from a renowned and well respected baker. My father would order several fruit cakes from a place in Texas every year. I even tried to make a fruit cake myself after I married and decided that I never had to try to make another one. So you can see that fruit cakes have had a history in my family.
It wasn’t until last year around the Thanksgiving and Christmas season that I discovered a fruit cake worthy of all the possible praise that one could give to a fruit cake. Moni Schiller has come up with a recipe for the gods. Who ever heard of a chocolate fruit cake. I try to keep a couple in my fridge at all times in case folks drop by unexpectedly. However, I often nibble until I realize it’s all gone. I gave my neighbour one of Moni’s delights. She had a bite that continued until the whole cake disappeared without her husband having a taste.
Moni uses only the best chocolate and ingredients for her cakes. I have several nursing friends that almost swarm me hoping that I have a fruit cake to give them.
Please don’t take my word for this cake but try it. I promise you will not regret it, taste after taste. It’s a wonderful and appreciated gift at all times and wonderful to treat yourself with a bite.

- Blown Away by Rich Chocolate
- I was interested in finding a supplier for my company, Lux Spa, who could provide my company with customized fruit cakes for our Wedding Package. Moni Schiller, President of Nuttier Than fruit cake, sent a complete box of samples with beautiful cards within days. We were all very impressed with the presentation and even more so with the fruit cake.
As a person who has never liked fruit cake, I was absolutely blown away by how addictive Moni’s cakes were. The rich chocolate and brandy flavours complimented each other without being too overpowering. Unlike any fruit cake I have ever tasted, Moni’s were rich, delicious, and anything but old-fashioned.
We are pleased to say that we endorse her product 100% and will be carrying her fruit cake in our Wedding Package’s from now on. I look forward to treating my client’s to this most wonderful product and supporting a great new female entrepreneur in BC.

- Irresistable Aroma
- I heard about Moni’s fruit cakes through an e-mail friend. Being unable to make my usual fruit cake for my grown children last Christmas, I decided to order one of Moni’s cakes for each of them. Moni’s husband very kindly delivered the cakes to me (all gift wrapped) at a rendevous site in Surrey. A friend was with me and the wonderful aroma of the cakes was such that we couldn’t wait to get home to try one. We were not disappointed. They were wonderful. What’s more, my children liked them and they are very discerning fruit cake eaters—naturally, having grown up with mine.
Moni’s cakes come very highly recommended from this family.

- Fruitcake a Tasty Treat
- Nuttier Than a Fruitcake(tm), a new company owned and operated by Moni Schiller, is making Totally Decadent Fruit Cake(tm) for sale. It’s made with real chocolate, contains gently roasted pecans and is infused with fine brandy. It’s rich, unusual and tastes terrific. Penny Caley and I tried some that Moni had dropped off and we both thought it was fantastic. The cake weighs one pound, costs $14 and comes nicely packaged in a box. It’s perfect for a last minute Christmas present, hostess gift, for someone who has everything or for someone who doesn’t bake Christmas cake but loves it.
